God has led us to an exciting theme this year called "3D-Now.” Living for Christ in this world can be extremely difficult. Between the promise of salvation and the payoff of eternity with him is the process that all believers go through. Students will be challenged to see this process as the point to their existence in this world, and that they should live to glorify God in all things. We are excited to see how the Lord is going to use this weekend to emerge new and stronger relationships amongst our students as well as offer them a fresh encounter with God that promises to change their lives forever.
What is Disciple Now?
It is a high-energy weekend that ends up being a cross between a lock-in and a Bible Study. Is it fun? Just ask anyone who came last year! You’ll be with a group of friends your own age, in houses with excited, young leaders who have come from all over Texas just to spend the weekend with you! You will not only emerge with new and stronger relationships but with a fresh encounter with God that could change your life!
Any questions?
· Who can come to Disciple Now 2012?
You must be in 6ththrough12thgrade.
· Who will I be with?
You will be grouped with friends in the same grade. Middle School groups are divided by gender and age. High School groups are co-ed, but members of the opposite sex will sleep at different houses.
· Can I invite my friends?
YES! YES! YES! (as long as they are in 6ththrough 12thgrade.)
· How can I get into a group with my friends?
When you register you select three friends that you want to be with and we will do our best to place you in the same home...but NO GUARANTEES (if you are bringing a friend please let us know and we’ll do our best to get you together!) You will be with all your friends during the mission projects and worship rallies!
· How do I sign up?
Bring your registration form and payment to Student Ministries office or online at chfbc.org/students/
· “I have a schedule conflict during a portion of the weekend. Can I leave and then return?”
Yes, as long as you fill out a time-away card. Please don’t miss the entire weekend because of a few hours of conflict that are unavoidable. However, once you make a commitment to come, please plan to leave only for events where your attendance is mandatory. Every minute counts!
